Sheet Metal Fabrication
Laser cutting, plasma cutting, waterjet cutting, turret punching, press brake forming, TIG / MIG / laser welding, surface conditioning, and finishing.
CNC Machining
VMC (3, 4, 5-axis), HMC (3, 4, 5-axis), CNC turning with live tooling, and CNC routing across steel, stainless, aluminum, titanium, brass, copper, and engineering plastics.
Pipe and Tube Fabrication
Tube laser cutting, CNC pipe bending, TIG / MIG / laser welding of structural and process piping in mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Additive Manufacturing
FFF/FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF, DMLS, metal binder jetting, and laser cladding.
Finishing and Surface Treatment
Powder coating, liquid spray painting, electroplating (zinc, nickel, chrome), PVD coating, anodising, passivation, shot blasting, and sand blasting.
Welding and Special Processes
Laser battery welding, bus bar welding (Al-to-Cu, Al-to-Ni), SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW for structural and precision assemblies.

Qualification Requirements
CipherFAB maintains a vetted network of 280+ manufacturing partners. Every facility undergoes a structured qualification process before receiving live orders.
Minimum Requirements
- Registered business entity with valid GST registration
- Demonstrated capability in at least one CipherFAB process category with verifiable production history
- Calibrated and documented measuring equipment appropriate to process — vernier, CMM, surface roughness tester as applicable
- Ability to provide material traceability documents and Certificate of Conformance (CoC) on request
- Production capacity sufficient to meet agreed lead time commitments
Preferred Qualifications
Facilities with recognized certifications are prioritized for higher-value, export-grade, and industry-specific orders:
- ISO 9001:2015 — General quality management
- AS9100D — Aerospace quality management
- ISO 13485:2016 — Medical device manufacturing
- IATF 16949:2016 — Automotive quality management
- NABL-accredited inspection or NDT capability
- ITAR registration for defense and export-controlled work
How Onboarding Works

Register Your Facility
Complete the CipherFAB vendor registration form online. Provide details of your processes, machine list, certifications, materials processed, and production capacity. Registration takes approximately 15 minutes.

Capability Review
Our vendor onboarding team reviews your application and verifies the information submitted. Depending on process complexity, a facility visit or virtual capability assessment may be scheduled before proceeding.

Test Order
Qualified applicants receive a test order matched to their stated capabilities. The order is evaluated against CipherFAB's quality standards — dimensional accuracy, surface finish, documentation completeness, and delivery performance.

Approval and Activation
Facilities that pass the test order review are approved and activated on the CipherFAB vendor portal. You receive access to capability-matched orders, order management tools, and direct support from our vendor team.

Grow Your Order Access
Approved vendors who demonstrate consistent quality, on-time delivery, and clear communication are progressively given access to higher-value, higher-complexity, and export-grade orders. CipherFAB tracks performance through a Vendor Performance Score across three dimensions — on-time delivery rate, first-pass quality rate, and responsiveness — with stronger scores unlocking access to premium order categories including aerospace, defence, medical, and EV programmes.
